Having a good Page Rank in the eyes of Google can do wonders for your website. Of course it is not vital, but a good Google Page Rank will gain you more visitors and trust.
You may be thinking, why is Google so important to my website? Why not Bing, Yahoo etc? The truth is most people still use Google as their number one search engine. They have established themselves as the biggest player. In years to come who knows what will happen, but for now Google remains king of the search engines.

Does ranking matter to your website?
If you want to get lots of traffic and have your site positioned high up in the search results then yes, Page Rank does matter. Think about it! Who is going to trawl through page 1-40 (or more) of the search results? Nobody has the time for that. If your site does not show on page 1 or 2 of the search results then it is very difficult to get anyone to see your site, let alone buy any products you may be offering. The better your Page Rank the higher you are going to be showing in the search results.
So you can see that having a decent Page Rank does indeed matter.
How is Page Rank determined?

Your Page Ranking is determined by many factors, but one that is of high importance are the number of links you have pointing back at your site. Yes you could have thousands, but if they are from sites that have low or no Page Rank then your ranking is not going to be so great. The idea is to build links on other good sites.
When someone types a phrase into Google it will attempt to find sites that can provide an answer to the search question. It looks at the site and analyses it's keywords as well as the number of links it has pointing to it. If it has good Page Rank it is served high in the search results.
If you are a webmaster you should really become familiar with how Page Rank works as it will be of benefit to any marketing efforts. The more links pointing at your site the better placed it will be in the search engines, particularly in Google.

Tips on improving your Google Page Rank
The best way to improve your ranking is to start building backlinks to your site. Take a look at the top ten results returned for your niche. Try placing links on their site if allowed. Not all backlinks are equal of course. Having 100's of links on not so great sites will not be as good as say having 40 links on sites that are really popular.

Google looks both at relevance and popularity of the backlinks you build so don't go putting a link on a motorbike site if your niche is about dog collars. This kind of strategy will do you no good at all. Look for sites that are similar to yours, there will be many of them around. Spend some time doing this exercise as it will pay dividends in the long run. Backlinks are not only for search engine optimization.
You can build the backlinks yourself, but this can take a long time. Try and do a few each day and before long you will have amassed a good amount. Alternatively there are various services around that build backlinks.

In this article I have outlined why the Page Ranking of your website is important. You can determine the Page Ranking of your own as well as the sites of others by installing the Google toolbar. By monitoring and improving your how you rank you will not only gain better rankings, but your site will be considered an authority site. This will get you more subscribers and hopefully better sales in the long run.

Making money through affiliate marketing programs can be an excellent addition to your income, even if you don't have any startup money or advanced technical experience.

So, what exactly is affiliate marketing? Affiliate marketing involves advertising a product in exchange for a commission, usually a fraction of the product's price to customers. All of the sales tracking is done automatically - upon signing up for an affiliate program, you are given a unique link that is tied to your account. Every time a purchase is made via that link, you get paid.
Affiliate marketing is usually advertised or promoted on the affiliate's website, but it's not required. Since you're most likely new to affiliate marketing, you won't need a website, so don't worry about spending any money just yet.

So, how exactly are you going to advertise these products? One way is using Squidoo, a website made for people who want to create their own pages, called "lenses". These lenses allow you to post your own content, including text, links, and images - kind of like a blog. Squidoo is a great website for affiliate marketers due to its simplicity. All you have to do is pick a specific product you plan on promoting, setup a lens, and write a review that includes your affiliate link.

However, if you think Squidoo isn't right for you, there are article directories such as EzineArticles and Article Base. Just like you would do on Squidoo, all you have to do is write a review of the product you're promoting and add your affiliate link at the end of the article. While EzineArticles and Article Base aren't the only article directories you can use, they're the most popular, therefore getting you the traffic you need to earning an affiliate income without owning a website.

Writing may not be your thing, so creating videos and posting them on YouTube might sound better than having to type a review. A video is a great way to show how the product works or showing off what it can do. Your affiliate link can be placed in the video description.

The great thing about these methods is that generating traffic to your unique affiliate link isn't as difficult as it would be if you were doing this all on your own website. The websites mentioned above all have their own system which allows them to generate new traffic everyday, making it a great benefit for a beginner like yourself.
On the Internet, you don't have to sell products to get money. By joining an affiliate program, you can get revenue as well. Below are a few tips to boost your affiliate sales.

1. Join a reputable affiliate network relevant with your niche
Before joining an affiliate program, knows the service or product they offer. There's no way you can promote chimney-sweeping service if your blog is about beverages, for example. To promote a relevant product and get money from it, you should know your niche and be aware of what your visitor are looking for.

2. Be honest with your review
The fact that companies pay you to write reviews for their products or services may tempt you to write beautifully polished reviews. Nevertheless, these are not what your visitors need. Your readers visit your site to find out the good and bad features of the reviewed service or product. The best strategy to write a good review is basing the details on your own personal experience.

3. Promote good products only
Instead of endorsing every products and services you get, choose ones with positive reviews. This is important to the well-being of your site. If you include products with many negative reviews in your websites, your visitors may lose their confidence and trust hence stop buying products from your links. However, always remember that a good product is not a product without bad features. Therefore, always follow rule number 2 when writing product reviews.

4. Get more traffic through social media sites
Today, social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Digg, and MySpace are not only used for connecting with your peers or finding your long lost friends. Further, social media sites can also be used as the place to generate money. Simply share your affiliate links in these sites and wait for more traffic in your site.

5. Be creative with promotion materials
To increase your affiliate sales, you need to be different from the others. Creating your own original site content is better than following the established ones. Stand out from the others by posting video tutorials and testimonials, unique articles and ads, bonus offer, or any ways you can think of.

6. Promote unique products
People love unusual and exclusive things. As long as the products you endorse are relevant with your niche, do not be afraid of reviewing unique products on your site. For example, if your blog is about computers, you might post reviews on USB sticks, speakers, headphones, mouse, or other computer peripherals with unique designs.

As much as we would like to think that building an online business is made up of many different secrets, the truth is that the ultimate secret is a razor sharp focus on a singleness of purpose, driven by exceptional passion. However that singleness of purpose and passion will consist of several critical components. Singleness of purpose will start with the selection of one right product or one right service.
The more you focus on a single product or a single group of products, the more you can focus your research, as well as all other related activity associated with building an online business. When building a new business, diversification results in delays, wasted resources, and financial problems.

Once you have selected one product or service, your commitment to become an absolute expert as it relates to your product or service, will be critical in not only building your online presences, but also in providing the very best customer support. Singleness of purpose and absolute focus, eliminates doubt, maybe's, or any other uncertainty that can all contribute to second guessing and failure.

Finding the right keywords, or setting up the right marketing campaign is so much easier, and certainly so much more effective, when all your attention is focused, and your passion is allowed to take charge. In building any new business, hesitation, doubt, or spreading yourself too thin, are the primary causes of early failure. Singleness of purpose and focus, is the only way that you will have access to all your passion about your business, which is the most valuable asset you have to start with.

With a razor sharp focus on one thing and one thing only, you will also gain the patience to deal with all the obstacles and setbacks that any new business encounters. Patience is a valuable commodity, and is instrumental in building a new business, repeating mistakes and hoping for a different outcome however will destroy any business. By having a singleness of purpose and focus, you will be able to differentiate between the need for patience, or the need to change what you're doing, and that's how you get past the initial challenges of a new business.

Always keep mind, what was behind your original business idea, and never let that slip out of your sight. Whatever it is, wealth, fame, or any other motive, your original idea is the reason you're in business, and it is the driving force behind your passion. One you abandon this idea, you're abandoning your passion, which in turn will eventually turn your business into a burden and failure.

Yes of course there are many very specific business steps to building a business, and you should make an effort to get that information from one single source. But none of that information will be of any long term value, unless you apply the real secrets to building a business, and that is a singleness of purpose and focus, with a strong driven passion.

Creating a marketing plan is a prerequisite for any person conducting business. Whatever business you are involved in, you need to base your marketing campaigns on a well laid out plan so that you do not lose track and run your business blindly. Have you ever created one?
Surprisingly, not many online marketers think about creating a marketing plan. They just begin their online businesses and end up jumping from one failed marketing method to another. But if you are a success-conscious marketer, you need to have a WRITTEN MARKETING PLAN to avoid doing things wrongly. In this article, I would like to share with you 9 steps for creating a successful marketing plan.

1. To create a successful marketing plan, you need to read to understand the different online marketing and advertising methods. If you are a newbie, you need most importantly to equip yourself with some knowledge on online marketing before you create your marketing plan.

2. Understand your market and competition. Find out first what the marketplace is, what happens in it and what its trends are.
Additionally, get information on your competitors by finding out who they are, what they sell, how they sell it, what their marketing methods are, what makes them stand out, how their websites are, what their weaknesses are and what they don't offer that you could offer. You can easily get this information by searching on the internet.

3. Get to know properly your targeted customers. You should know who they are, how and when they buy, what their problems are, which solutions they are looking for, how they respond and find what they buy, what they say and what needs to fill the gap.

4. Discover the position of your business. Find out more about the product you intend to sell or promote and how you will position your business. Find out what your strengths and weaknesses are, your field of business and expertise, lives and challenges of your customers and the different niche groups in your line of business.

5. Develop your marketing messages. Your plan should entail in-depth information on what your brand is, what your unique selling point, strap-line and marketing slogans will be. Remember that your messages have to cause action to be taken. It's a reason why you need to develop them carefully and strategically.

6. Set your marketing goals. A successful marketing plan clearly spells out the vision for your business, what you want to achieve, your specific achievable goals and your priorities. Your goals have to be stated clearly in that they are not only SMART but they are also SMARTER (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time bound, extended and rewarding)

7. Determine your marketing methods. Get to know the marketing methods competitors use and what works for you best basing on your strengths, knowledge, skills and ability. Focus on how you will get new customers and maintain old ones as well.

8. Develop your budget. When developing your budget, base on the marketing methods you have selected to determine the total cost of your marketing campaigns, the resources you need to invest in your marketing and what your return on investment will be. Having a marketing budget is a key to creating a successful marketing plan.

9. Map your marketing strategy. Creating a successful marketing plan requires you to focus on how you will progress in each and every aspect of your plan. You should focus on what is needed to set up your business and the steps and practical actions to be taken. Project your anticipated obstacles and deadlines and how you will track, evaluate and review your strategy.

Finally, having a marketing plan is a necessity for any success-conscious online marketer. Always have it written down and make it as simple as you can. Your marketing plan serves as your guide. It's your commitment that helps you to walk your road to success in a systematic manner. If you have been doing things haphazardly, it's high time you created a marketing plan for your online business.

There is no doubt that list building is extremely effective for your business, and many Internet marketers will tell you that you cannot succeed without one. So what do you need to do to build a list fast? In this article, I am going to explain some simple steps to get you building a list fast.

Here's what you need to do to make this happen:

First, you must choose an effective marketing method. Now, there are several marketing methods that you can choose from but I am only going to discuss one. The method that I believe will build a list quicker and easier is article marketing. You see, article marketing sets you up in front of your prospects. The simple act of writing an article is of higher quality than any other traffic source. This is because an article gives people an idea of how you do things. And once they know who you are, they can decide whether they want to learn anything else from you.

Second, you will need to send people to a squeeze page. The reason being, a squeeze page is designed for the sole purpose of generating leads. If you use any other method, you risk the chance of not getting the leads you deserve. You see, lead capture pages can convert much higher percentages of your visitors into subscribers. This is because with a lead capture page you can target specific individuals. This makes it extremely beneficial or your list building campaign.

Third, make sure that your squeeze page has a very compelling headline that speaks volumes about who you are and how you can help people. This will ensure that you only get the right people to join your list. However, it is important to note that if you use a headline that is misleading or just a plain lie; your prospects will leave your page. And I know you don't want this to happen, right? So creates a headline that speaks to people's emotions and triggers hotspots in their thinking.

Fourth, offer a free guide that will teach your prospects how to do what you teach. There is no better way to gain the trust of your new subscribers than to give them a great high quality product for free. So get out there and start building your list using these methods; and watch what happens. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

ist building is one of the most important aspects required for internet marketing success. It does not matter whether you do affiliate marketing, or sell your own products or services. If you are not building a list of subscribers, you are losing valuable repeat business as well as free traffic that is not dependent upon search engine ranking.

Building a list of subscribers gives the internet marketer or affiliate marketer an important base for future sales. Especially now with search engines being very unpredictable with constant algorithmic changes. Consider what could happen if you lose your rankings in search engines.
One day you could be receiving a flood of traffic from search engines and the next day very little. If you have a good list of subscribers, you will still continue to make sales. Without a list, you will have a more difficult time in making sales.

It is very easy to create a list of subscribers. However, there are several nuances that many internet marketing gurus use to make their subscriber list explode.
The basics for creating a list of subscribers is simple. You will require a website, an auto-responder and something to tempt your soon to be subscribers to actually subscribe to your list. Many times a free report on the niche you are promoting is offered. Yet there are numerous types of offers that can be used to get people to op-tin to your list.

When you do use a free report (or other offers), you are simply requesting they join your list in exchange for their email address. You explain that they will be required to confirm their subscription to your list, and once completed they will receive instructions on how to download or receive the free offer. You should also explain that as a subscriber to your list, you will be periodically emailing them special offers as well as valuable information.

It is highly recommended that you build a list for every type of niche that you may be marketing and promoting. It would not be too smart to email a list of people who are interested in losing weight about products for dog training, etc. Your sale conversions, as well as subscriber base would not do well at all.
There are many auto responder sites that offer services to help you build, maintain and broadcast to your growing list of subscribers. Some of these auto-responder services are free, some will charge a monthly fee. However, it is recommended that you do use a third party auto responder which requires confirmed subscriber op-tins. This helps protect your domain and business from being reported for sending spam. Some people "forget" that they have opted in to email lists.

If you are intent on becoming a success in internet marketing, then it is recommended that you do use a reputable paid auto-responder service like Aweber or GetResponse. Once you start list building, it is very difficult to change your auto-responder service, so it is a good idea to choose wisely in the beginning.
If you are new to list building, you definitely will need to learn the basics of it as well as advanced techniques. It does take a bit of time, yet it is time well spent because you will reap the rewards of being able to almost instantly make sales online just by sending an email update to your list of subscribers.
If you are new to marketing online, you may make several mistakes in your initial list building attempts. It is important that you "learn before you do" because some list building mistakes can be disastrous.
There are numerous "how to build a list" courses and download reports available. The best ones cover all aspects of how to build a list.

One list building course we found exceptional is List Building Bulletin. It explains list building from basics to advanced, as well as avoiding mistakes. It is a complete course, and tells you exactly what to do and more importantly, what Not to do when list building.
This course is actually for everyone, both seasoned internet marketers as well as those new to marketing online. Especially if you are just beginning your list building efforts.
First, create and sell your own digital product
This is one of the best ways to make money online. What you do is create your own product, and employ affiliates to sell the product for you. In this method, you have full control over the product. You get to decide on the quality, price and content of the product. But of course, this control comes with responsibilities. As the product owner, you are responsible for customer service, market research and development of the product.

Second, be an affiliate marketer
Unlike other top online business ideas, you can start right away with affiliate marketing by simply promoting other people's products. You need not worry about creating your own product, market research or customer service. The only setback is you do not have control over the product or a brand of your own. So, you would not be able to build your brand name.

Third, sell physical product
Selling physical product is one of the top online business ideas. Without me mentioning, am sure you already have an idea of what this is about. Exactly! eBay is one of the best examples where you can make millions selling physical products. If you don't mind the hassle of packaging, delivering and customer service, selling physical products can be a lucrative online business.

Forth, sign up for pay per click or pay per view programs
In this category, one of the most famous top online business ideas is Google AdSense. This is where you earn money from each click of the advertisements other advertisers place on your website. What you do is get a Google AdSense account. Place the account code given on your webpage. This is where other Google advertisers' ads will appear on your webpage. When someone visits your site and clicks on the advertisements placed on your webpage, you get paid. What you need is to get traffic to your website. But if you really want to make money with this method, you need massive traffic to your website.

Fifth and finally, sell membership programs
This is one of my favorite top online business ideas simply because it generates recurring income. A member who signs up will pay membership fees every month, week or year (depending on the rules set by you), until he/she terminates the membership. One time job, but you get to enjoy the fees repeatedly auto-pilot. What you need to do is to create the membership site, provide quality contents and information, and promote it to get members. Once there are members, you need to do very little from time to time to sustain the members. That's why it is one of my favorite top online business ideas.
These are the 5 top online business ideas which have made thousands an internet millionaire. Choose the one that suit you the best and start developing it! You'll make your 1st million in no time.

Modern day product launches need to be effectively distributed in order to be properly introduced to the consumer. Therefore being able to exhaust all news venues, in order to get the word out, is central when launching a new product.
Utilizing all forms of online venues, social media, and traditional media, in order to maximize coverage is the optimal way to go about launching a new product in the modern day market. So, once you have drafted a press release showcasing the new product by addressing its obvious advantages over the competition, its' innovative nature compared to your older products, and how the consumer's life will be enriched by its acquisition, you are ready to proceed onto launching the great news onto as many reputable and credible venues as you can.
Going the distance when you are distributing the news to potential venues, in which to advertise your product, will ensure top market penetration. So sending the news out to online news press release sites, and online media sources, or advertising it on popular websites (such as Google, Facebook, YouTube or Bing, etc.), and creating a home based website for the press release to connect with, will give your new product the necessary speed to take off the ground successfully.
It is further solidified through the creation of a website which is hopefully user friendly, and adorned with product details, company information, as well as online and offline purchasing details.
Learning how to use and appreciate traditional media, as well as forms of previously mentioned new media can also help double the effectiveness of a product launch. So opening up to television, radio, advertising or print venues (such as newspapers, magazines, or direct mail pamphlets and brochures), or even movie screens or theaters, will help increase the potential radius of influence of your product launch. Also, since advertising venues such as radio and television, especially, have a long standing reputation and influence over consumers, they can help up the credibility, and legitimacy, of your product launch.
Finally taking full advantage of other opportunities that may be available to you such as participating in trade shows, journalistic coverage of your press release by an influential newspaper, and or public launch events, and other forms of social media, can widen the scope and dimension of your product launch.
So, in the offline world, inviting your entire and loyal client base to attend and have some light refreshments, while becoming introduced and informed on your new product, can be of great help if it can be arranged cost effectively. It can also be a powerful way of engaging the customers on a personal, and social level, and help them to feel truly acquainted and connected with the product.
Ideally speaking, actively researching and choosing the most targeted media venues available, (ones which can cater to both the nature of your product and consumer base, and can meet your financial comfort), is the optimal way of going about launching a new product.

A credit card is a unique product that helps people pay for stuff without cash. It is like an electronic kind of monet that is stored on a plastic card that can be used or accessed only by means of special numbers.
Understanding credit cards

Credit cards come with credit card numbers which are lengthy serialized numbers that can be as much as 14 - 16 digits.
There are different kinds of credit cards which carry digits indicating the brand of card that it is;
- Master card
- Visa
- Discover
- American Express

  • The first digit in your credit-card number signifies the system:
    • 3 - travel/entertainment cards (such as American Express and Diners Club)
    • 4 - Visa
    • 5 - MasterCard
    • 6 - Discover Card

  • The structure of the card number varies by system. For example, American Express card numbers start with 37; Carte Blanche and Diners Club with 38.
    • American Express - Digits three and four are type and currency, digits five through 11 are the account number, digits 12 through 14 are the card number within the account and digit 15 is a check digit.
    • Visa - Digits two through six are the bank number, digits seven through 12 or seven through 15 are the account number and digit 13 or 16 is a check digit.

Credit card fraud in Nigeria
Card fraud is an increasing problem not just for Nigeria's image abroad but also for her citizens within. We already know about how sophisticated card theft has become when it comes to ATM cards, so also is credit card fraud an issue so you need to take urgent steps to protect your credit card if you've got one.
Users have complained of fraudulent charges and unapproved transactions being debited to their credit card account. There are many ways in which the security of your credit card can be compromised and so you need to be aware and updated on the safety measures given to you by your card provider so as to reduce the likelihood of being burned by credit card fraud.
Personally, I would advise that if you have a credit card, you need to follow these safety measures;
- If you have a plastic card, make sure you hide it in a place where only you have access to.
- Don't give your credit card to any one for use unless you are swiping it on a P.O.S. terminal
- Keep a tab on your credit card account and look at your bill in order to detect any strange transactions.
- Pay in cash when possible and don't use your credit card for everything.
- Don't use your credit card on ATM machines that don't have a secure environment
- Always keep your credit card details private
- Don't use your credit card on new or insecure websites or those without a reputation
- Rarely use your card in public cafes. Try to have a personal internet account at home as this will secure your card transactions
- Only use your credit card on secure sites that carry the prefix "https"
- Make sure that you provider allows you to have unrestricted access to your account history online and for free.
- If you discover any discrepancies to your credit card account or any unapproved payments, promptly inform your card provider.
- If your credit card provider doesn't allow charge-backs to your account in case of any fraudulent transactions, maybe it's time you move to a new provider

Study.. Study other peoples ads on Facebook.  You will start to notice that some ads have been running for a long time.  These ads are the ones that are successful.  You do not have to reinvent the wheel.  Follow the success that is already proven.  Study the landing pages that those ads link to, you will start to see why those landing pages are effective.  Study the titles and body content of the ad.  Again, this is marketing in its finest.  You must analyze competitors and you must analyze what is successful.  If you pay attention to all the ads you will begin to see what is working and what is not.

Read. Read about what others are doing in the internet marketing world.  You are likely to come across some valuable tips that I do not even know myself.  Although Copeac, Paydotcom, and Click2Sell are great for Facebook marketing; there are other programs that are great as well (those are just the ones that I am successful with right now).  You can become an affiliate of almost any company on the internet.  If there is something that you think people will buy, then find a company that sells it and write the company an e-mail and ask if they have an affiliate program (most likely they do).  You can then market that product or service on Facebook with your unique affiliate URL.  That is what it is all about – finding what people want and then supplying it to them.  Just make sure that your commissions will be high enough to cover your advertising expenses.  Like I said before, if you are making more than you are spending, then you are doing it right.  Give it time though—you may think an offer is no good after only running an ad for one day, but it may need a few days to show profitability—or it may need a new landing page.  Just remember:  People are consumers.  They will consume if the offer is attractive.

Analyze. Find out who the target market is for a product or service that you want to promote.  A great place to get demographic information for any website is QuantCast.com.  Go to QuantCast.com and type in the URL of the websites’ sales page that you are going to promote and you can find out exactly who has been to that website in the past, which is a good indicator of who would like the information in the present.  The information gathered from QuantCast is a great way to better target your Facebook ads.  (This is a tip that I recently learned and I love it!)

Final Notes
Supply and Demand is what makes the world tick.  If you are a supplier, you make money.  If you are a demander, you spend money.  Which would you rather be?  Good Luck in all your Facebook marketing ventures!  Be creative and stay positive, you will succeed!
Remember, be creative with your Facebook ad creation.  Think about what would make you click the ad if you were the targeted consumer.  But most importantly, do not give up!  Become a marketing professional and you will easily make hundreds of dollars a week with from the Facebook ad platform.

I started with absolutely zero experience and definitely did not have a resource like this blog to teach me how to make money online.  Honestly it was hard work for me to become successful on Facebook, but I am proof that it can and does work.  If you are serious about making money on Facebook then will have saved yourself a lot of time by reading this blog many times.

If you follow my techniques you will succeed, hands down.  If I could do it without any help, then you can definitely do it with my help.  It took me weeks to get my first conversion, but I did not give up because I knew that it was possible to make good money on Facebook with just a little practice and experience.

While pursuing how to make money on Facebook, I searched the web to find help… to find something that would teach me the way to make money on Facebook.  I could find nothing that would teach me.  That is why I have created this blog, so that I may be able to help anyone that is willing to learn the process to make money on Facebook.  I truly want you to succeed on Facebook, and you will if you do not give up!

Remember: This is a business.  You have to treat it like a business to be successful.  It does not mean that you have to spend every waking hour for it to work, but you do need to experiment to find what does and does not work.  After a little practice, you will not have to spend more than an hour a week on Facebook if you do not want to.  When you do find that perfect ad you can just sit back and let the money roll in because all the hungry consumers are eating your ad up.
Making money on Facebook requires creating ads that grab attention and make the ad viewer want to click.  You want clicks! But not only do you want clicks, you want good, relevant clicks.
Let’s make some Facebook ads:
  • Login to Facebook and click on “Ads and Pages” under “Applicationsstep1
  • Click “Create an Ad”step2
  • On this page enter the URL of your landing page (can be the domain that you bought or your unique affiliate link) that you want to advertise on Facebook.step3
  • On this page you can choose the audience for your ad.  You will probably want to create multiple ads with different audiences in order compare which ads are converting better.
    step4
With this example you can see that I have targeted females between the ages of 18 to 35 that like: exercising, working out, running, and dieting. There are 738,840 females that meet this description! This ad will be shown on their Facebook pages and may convert into money when they click the ad.
  • Now, you must be creative with your ad Title and ad Body. Ask yourself what makes you click ads?
    step5
This is a possible ad for the targeted group of females.  You would want to try different pictures and different ad content to see which ad performs the best. Remember:  continually test!
  • Set your daily budget and you are done. Your ad will now be displayed on hundreds of thousands of Facebook user’s pages. Tip: I recommend being charged by PPC ads, but I occasionally run CPM (pay per 1000 impressions) ads.

Now that you are signed up for the affiliate networks or CPA networks that offer high commission products and services, it is time to start creating Facebook ads that convert and make you loads of money.
You obviously want to create ads that encourage people to click your ad and potentially buy or sign up for whatever you are promoting. I know you are thinking, “That is obvious… Aren’t you going to tell me the techniques?” Of course I am!  I am going to walk you through the process of creating and placing effective ads. But, that is not all. You can not only create an ad and expect to make piles of money; you must experiment with multiple variations of an ad so that you can gauge which ad will convert clicks into conversions most efficiently.
Notice that I have said experiment, because that is what you have to do to make money from Facebook ads.  As I have said before, do not get discouraged.  It really takes time to find the right combinations of ads and offers; you will if you do not give up!  I promise if you keep experimenting you will make the money that you are searching for—do not give up if your first time does not turn you into a Facebook marketing millionaire.  You must continually check your click-through-rates, conversion rates, and other statistics to narrow down on great converting offers.
Let me summarize: Making money on Facebook is a three-step process.
1. Find a great converting product/service that people are likely interested in on an affiliate network (Copeac, Paydotcom, Click2Sell. )
2. Create (or have one made) an effective landing page that makes people want to convert on the offer that you are promoting.  (Remember that you do not always have to have a landing page.  However, a great landing page will increase conversions)
3. Create an effective, targeted ad campaign on Facebook Ads. (Which we will learn next)
Now that you have a great landing page, you will need a very cheap domain name and a web host for your landing pages.  If you are not experienced with web hosting and uploading a webpage to a host then usually the graphic designer that designed your landing page will gladly help you upload the webpage to your web server.

IMPORTANT: If you do need someone to upload the page to your server then you will need the domain name and hosting first so that whoever does upload it for you will know which domain to point to the landing page.  You can get cheap domain names and web hosting from a domain registrar such as,  Godaddy (quick tip: do not fall into the trap that Godaddy is sure to offer you with your domain purchase—they will try to sale you all types of extras that you do not need—you only need a cheap domain name for your landing page) or go for free host providers like 000webhost.com.  Godaddy has excellent customer service and will help you with any problem that you may have.

I know all of this probably sounds overwhelming, but I promise that it is something that you can learn.  And remember that creating landing pages to improve conversions is something that you can do later… This is just a tip for you to know about in the future.  It will pay off when you start making a lot of money on Facebook.  You can still make money from Facebook ads without a custom landing page, so do not freak out if you are getting lost in the talk about landing pages… you will understand later after you get more experience, I promise.

Below is an example of a great landing:
The URL for the landing page below is www.ljumpi.com, but when someone clicks “Try it Free” they are directed to the affiliate page that looks very similar, but the URL is different-> it is the affiliate URL that is provided by Copeac or any other affiliate network.
landingpage
Above: The landing page.  Notice how it does not ask for any personal information.  The URL for this page is www.ljumpi.com.  When you click the “Try it Free” button you will go to the page below which is a different URL.
The Money Page:
landingpage2
Above:  This is the page that will make you money when someone enters their personal information to try this product for free.  Notice how similar it looks to the landing page above.  But, it is a totally different webpage with a totally different URL-> this page would have your affiliate link so that you get paid a commission.

A landing page is the page that a customer will land on once they click your carefully crafted Facebook ad.  On some offers it is crucial to have a great landing page in order to improve conversion rates.  Facebook does not allow a landing page to ask a person for personal information (name, address, email…) unless it is for an e-commerce transaction and also the ad must clearly state that a product or service is being sold.  For this reason, you have to get creative (creativity is never a bad thing, it helps your conversion rates).
Some offers that you will find in Copeac (or other CPA networks) will have landing pages that Facebook does not allow.  So you must be creative to get around Facebook’s advertising guidelines (tweak here, tweak there and you will get your ad approved).
The best thing to do is have a professional graphic artist to make you an awesome landing page that will convert like crazy.  I use ScriptLance for all my landing pages.  With ScriptLance you can easily create a landing page project and have experienced graphic artists bid on your project so that you will get a very good price for your landing page (I usually do not pay more than $30 for my landing pages—that is definitely worth it because you will use that landing page for as long as your ad is making you money).
I know that you are thinking, “I have to spend some money!”  No.  You do not have to do this all the time.  Sometimes the company will provide you with a great landing page absolutely free… you just have to ask your affiliate manager if the advertiser supplies landing pages(remember, this is a guru tip—you may decide to do this later).
This is a simple process.  You just provide the winning bidder on your ScriptLance project with your affiliate link of the product or service that you are going to promote and the design artist will create a landing page that resembles the page of the link that you provided them.
paydotcom
Now, let’s do an example using the offer from Paydotcom.com above:
Let’s say you have a daily ad budget of $25.  Also, we know that you get paid a commission of $14.98 for every conversion, therefore you know you need at least 2 conversions to make a profit (2x $14.98= $29.96 – $25= $4.96 profit).  You might want to pull out your calculator to do the math.
Can you answer these questions:
  1. What is the most you should spend per ad click if the conversion rate is 2% (meaning that on average 2 people out of 100 will convert)?
Answer:  29 cents. The reason:  with a 2% conversion rate you will need 50 clicks for 1 conversion (or 100 clicks for 2 conversions).  Since you are paid $14.98 per conversion, you should not spend more than 14.98/50= .2996 or 29 cents per click.  (This would allow you to break even… so you should set your cost per click at less than 29 cents to make a profit)  Also, remember that this is just an example, in real life, conversion rates change all the time, so therefore, you could still make a profit if your cost per click was 29 cents and the conversion rate moved to 4%.
  2. What is your return on your investment (ROI) if you make 3 conversions and the daily budget is $25?
Answer:  79.76%! (Try making that in the stock market).  The reason:  3 conversions x $14.98= $44.94 in revenue.  $44.94- $25 budget= $19.94 in profit.  Profit divided by Budget gives the ROI…so, 19.94/25= .7976 or 79.76% return on investment!

Another great place to find products with high commissions to promote is Paydotcom.  You need to register as an affiliate (completely free) and search the marketplace to find thousands of great products that convert really well.
You can promote any of the products or services simply by clicking “Promote” under any item in the marketplace.  You will then receive your own unique Uniform Resource Locator (URL) (your affiliate link) for each product you decide to promote.  Every time someone buys a product through your unique URL you will receive a commission.
The image below shows how you can tell what your commission will be on a product in Paydotcom.  You can see that this offer pays 50% of $29.95… so a $14.98 commission.  With Paydotcom you can track all your statistics just as you can with Copeac.

paydotcom
Another place that I get great offers to promote on Facebook is Click2Sell which is similar to Paydotcom (again, you will want to register as an affiliate—absolutely free).  You can search thousands of quality products that convert really well.  Again you will want to keep up with your statistics so that you can compare which products are converting profitably.
Another idea to find offers to promote on Facebook are dating websites.  Dating websites are typically harder to get through Facebook’s advertising guidelines, but they do really well once you do get them through.  Here are some dating sites that you might want to think about promoting by targeting men:
> SinglesNet (publishers.singlesnet.com/register)
> Mate1 (mate1.com/affiliates)
> True (true-affiliates.com)

There are a number of companies that will give you access to a ton of very valuable affiliate offers.  These affiliate offers are commonly called CPA offers and will range from pay per sale (you get paid a commission when someone buys a product) to pay per lead (you get paid a commission when someone signs up for a free trial or enters their personal information into a form… this generates a lead for the company).
The company that I currently get my CPA offers to promote on Facebook is called Copeac.  With Copeac you will have immediate access to thousands of high paying products or services to promote in many different categories.  You will need to sign up with Copeac (or any other CPA Network) to gain access to these offers (it is free of course).
Within the Copeac interface you are able to generate your very own unique link (this is commonly referred to as your affiliate link) to an offer so that you are able to track all your statistics (such as your conversion rate) on all the affiliate offers you are promoting.  You will be able to see exactly how many people have clicked your ad and exactly how many people have converted (bought the product or filled out their personal information) on your ad.
Statistics are very valuable because you will want to compare different offers so that you will be able to find the offer that is getting the best conversion rate (conversions/clicks).  Once you find that highly converting offer, then you are ready to kick up the budget in Facebook and start generating a lot of extra money!
This is not rocket science.  You just have to take time to experiment with different offers and monitor your click-through-rates (CTR) and conversion rates to see which offers are performing the best and making you the most money.
The click-through-rate is the number of clicks divided by the number of impressions.  For example, if you run an ad that has 10,000 impressions and you receive 100 clicks on those impressions, the click-through-rate would be 1% (100/10,000= .01 or 1%).  Facebook will measure your click-through-rate for you in the Ad Manager which makes it much easier.
More important is the conversion rate.  The conversion rate is measured by the number of conversions (someone completes a purchase… and thus makes you money) divided by the number of ad clicks.  For example, if your ad gets 100 clicks and you receive 5 conversions from those clicks, then the conversion rate would be 5% (5/100= .05 or 5%).
Once you find a good performing offer with a reasonable conversion rate, then you simply add more to your daily budget and you will make more money.  Like I said, do not get discouraged easily.  It may take some time to test and find the offer that converts well, but it is totally worth it once you do find it.  I currently have been running an ad that makes me over $50 a day on a consistent basis; I have other ads that perform similar as well (I cannot tell which ads I am running because I do not want competition on my ads—but I will lead you in the right direction to find your golden ad).  As long as you make more than you spend, then you are doing things right.  Next you will learn where to find those valuable offers that pay you a commission.
The second way that you can choose to be charged for your ad is called Pay for Views (CPM—M is the Roman numeral for 1000), with this option, you will be charged a certain amount per 1000 ad views or impressions. An impression occurs every time your ad is shown on someone’s page (whether that person clicks your ad or not, you are still charged every time the ad is shown 1000 times). This sounds like a good deal considering that CPM ads typically cost less, however, you are not guaranteed that anyone will click on your ad. With the PPC option, you know every time someone clicks your ad because you are charged for it.
CPM pricing
CPM example: With this ad I would be paying for 100,000 impressions (0.25 per 1000 impressions = 4000 impressions for every $1)
Obviously, the goal is to target a person as precisely as possible; you do not want people clicking your ad that are not actually interested in it. For example, if you decide to promote a weight-loss product, then you probably want to target females that like to: work out, exercise, diet, etc. Likewise, if you decide to promote a video game, you probably want to target males between the age of 15 and 25 that like: video games, computer games, playing playstation, playing xbox, etc.
How It Works
Facebook charges you for your ad placements in two different ways (you have the choice of how you want to be charged).  The first way is called Pay-Per-Click (PPC), which is pretty self explanatory—you will be charged every time someone clicks on your ad.  You can set your daily budget to any amount that you would like and you can also set the amount that you would like to be charged every time someone clicks your ad (Facebook’s prices are very reasonable).
Here is a quick example:
facebook pricing
As you can see, I have set my daily budget for this ad at $25 and my max bid is 65 cents (you will not always be charged the max bid—in fact, most of the time it will be a good bit less).  With this setup I am paying for at least 38 clicks ($25/.65 = 38.46 clicks  -> but you will pretty much always get more than that because you will rarely be charged 65 cents for every click).  Also, I could have had a max bid of 25 cents per click, even though Facebook suggests $0.57- 0.75 for this particular ad.  With a max bid of 25 cents per click I would be paying for at least 100 clicks ($25/.25= 100 clicks).  The only thing that happens when you have a max bid less than Facebook’s suggested bid is that your ad will not be shown as often (fewer ad impressions)—so you may miss a valuable click that transfers into a conversion.  Ok, so with this ad I am paying for at least 38 clicks, which means that I believe that at least 1 person out of 38 clicks will convert on the offer that I am promoting.  Obviously I will have to be compensated accordingly—I am paying $25 for those clicks, so my commission better be more than $25 when someone converts on that particular offer (the goal is to find that highly converting offer that will pay off big).  Do not be discouraged; do not give up.  This can take time to find the right offer and the right ad content, but you will find it.
The way that I make money on Facebook is exactly the same way that you will.  By creating targeted Facebook ads.  Facebook ads can be very effective and highly targeted.  If you have no experience as an affiliate marketer (that is what you now are—a person that sells other company’s products for a commission) then do not worry.  As I have mentioned, the Facebook ad platform is very user-friendly and easy to learn in a matter of minutes.  The reason that Facebook ads are so effective is because of the precise targeting that Facebook allows.  Every one of us has seen the ads on the side of our Facebook profiles before.  In fact, you may have even clicked on an ad before and made the affiliate marketer some money (could have even been my ad—I continuously have ads revolving through the system that target different people).
Let’s do an example to show you how targeted Facebook Ads can be:
  • Notice a few things on the screenshot below:
  1. This profile says that the person has an interest in golf
  2. This profile also says that the person has an interest in travel
profile screenshot
Now, take a look at how targeted those ads are!  That is the power of the Facebook ad platform right there.  That is a precise targeting ability that even Google Adwords or Yahoo Marketing Solutions cannot provide.  The affiliate marketer that created these ads told the Facebook ad platform that they are specifically looking for people that like golf and people who like to travel.  No other ad platform has this kind of precise targeting, which is why I love it (you will too)!  Now you are probably asking, “So how does the person who created those ads make money?”  Well, it is simple really.  If a person clicks on the ad and signs up for or purchases whatever the marketer is offering then he/she will get paid a commission.
(Commission rates vary wildly depending on the particular offer you decide to promote—they may make $2 per sign up or they could make $100—it really just depends).  So now, hopefully, you can see the power of advertising on Facebook.  Obviously there is more to learn and of course I will teach.
I know you are thinking, “Cool, I see now.  But how am I going to do this?  How am I going to find the offers that will pay me a good commission?”  No worries, I am going to teach you everything you will need to know to get started.  Let’s do it!
Are you ready to start making money utilizing the extreme popularity of Facebook? I bet you are! I have great news for you! You can start making money on Facebook very soon.  Just follow my techniques and you will succeed. Let’s get started right away.
There is one fundamental truth in internet marketing and it is the same in almost any functioning market. Supply and demand. It is what drives all markets, and it is what separates the sellers from the buyers of a product or service. Just as you have demanded an opportunity to learn how to make money on Facebook, I am supplying you with the information to do so. Keep that in mind in all your internet marketing ventures. Remember that we are consumers… we demand things.  Supply and Demand drives all markets. You can spend money, or you can make money. You decide. Demanders give money, while suppliers receive money. So, you can see, in order to make money, you must be a supplier. That is the thought process of an entrepreneur. These fundamental truths seem obvious, and they are, but some people do not think about it or even comprehend that simple truth.  It is basic economics.
Marketing is the name of the game.  If you want to be the supplier that makes money on Facebook or anywhere else for that matter, you must be creative and learn to market your product/offer/promotion in a way that makes people want to buy what you are selling.  In the case of this report, information is the product.  I have marketed to you information on how to do something, such as how to make money on Facebook, and that is exactly what you will be doing.  But, in many cases, as in Facebook, you will be selling someone else’s product or service and make a commission for each sell or lead that you produce for the product or service owner.  This can take some creativity, but hopefully I will be able to help you with this.  You must think like a consumer to be great at marketing. What is it going to take to convert a prospect into a customer?  What is it that makes someone pull out their wallet?  Successfully answering those questions is what marketing is all about!
Have you noticed the sponsored ads on the side of your Facebook profile?
They look like this:
facebookad
Well, unless you have been living under a rock, then you have certainly noticed them.  Facebook makes sure that you do notice them for a reason… they want you to click on them.  That is precisely how Facebook makes their revenue.  They charge individual advertisers a small fee every time someone clicks on an advertisement.  In fact, in a nutshell, this is how most search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN generate revenues as well.  I have nothing against those search engines (they are great), but I will not talk about making money on them because it is a more advanced technique.  Facebook has the most user-friendly advertising interface and is the best place for you to learn how to make money by placing pay-per-click ads.  The bottom line is that Facebook’s social ads are amazingly awesome and simple to learn.  If you have ever wanted to make money online, then look no further than the Facebook advertising platform.
Let me tell you a simple secret that you should keep in mind as a marketer:  We as humans are consumers. We cannot help it.  There are things that we want, there are things that we need… therefore, we are consumers.  Think about it.  How many things have you paid for this week?  This month?  This year?  I know I have consumed a lot in my lifetime and I am sure you have to.
This is where Facebook comes in:  There are millions of hungry consumers on Facebook. Millions of people just like you and me that want and need something.  All you have to do as an affiliate marketer is fulfill the hunger of the consumer.  Facebook provides the perfect platform that allows you to precisely target any group of consumers you wish.  This is how you will make your money on Facebook.
The funny thing is I really do not like Facebook all that much.  I actually see it as a waste of my valuable time.  However, my girlfriend is one of those people that are completely obsessed, and I think, “Get a life! Quit asking people to tag you in their photo album!“  But then, I also think about the fact that the millions of girls like that are the exact people that will convert on an offer that I am promoting.  That is what it’s all about—conversions!  By conversions I mean that someone successfully completed your offer, which is what makes you money.  You just have to find the right affiliate offer (which I will teach you how to do) and you will be set to take advantage of all the hungry consumers on Facebook.  Trust me when I say, “There is money to be made on Facebook!” Take advantage now.

Are you a Facebook addict?
It’s ok.  You are not alone.  Currently, Facebook has over 300 Million active users at the time of this writing.  Yes, you read that right!  The site grows at over 200,000 members each and every day!  Don’t you wish you were the founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg?  Talk about making money–he is 24 years old and has an estimated net worth in excess of $3 Billion… not to shabby.
Well, we may not be Mark Zuckerberg, but the good news is that we can still make a profit from Facebook’s rapid growth and wild popularity.  It just takes a little time and discipline.  I want to be completely honest with you, so I want you to be completely aware that this is not a get-rich-quick program.  This system works only if you want it to…. If you make it work.  I do not intend to take credit for your successes, nor will I be responsible if you fail.  The bottom line is that if you are willing to take the time to learn the techniques that I teach, then you will succeed!
